Can rekupr connect to my insurer account?

For some insurers, yes. Where it is available, you will see Connect your insurer on your Insurance page. Pick the company named on your insurance card and sign in to their website through rekupr, using the username and password you use there. Your insurer may send you a one-time code to verify it is you; enter it in rekupr. Connecting your insurer account is not available for every insurer or every account yet. If you do not see it, or your insurer is not listed, download your EOBs from your insurer's website and upload them yourself, or add your plan manually.

What does connecting my insurer account bring in?

rekupr reads your plan, coverage, and claims, and downloads your plan documents and Explanations of Benefits (EOBs). This usually takes 2 to 4 minutes, and you can leave the page while it runs. Your plan then appears on your Insurance page.

How do I use the EOBs rekupr brings in?

When an EOB matches one of your bills, we suggest it on that bill so you can attach it. When you upload a new bill, EOBs from your insurer may be offered on the EOB step. If we find no EOBs, you can still upload them yourself.

Does rekupr store my insurer password?

No. Your password, and any one-time code your insurer sends to verify it is you, pass through to sign you in and are never stored. rekupr only reads, to check your bills. It will not pay, change your account, or send messages. Your insurer's terms may bar automated sign-in, so they could suspend your online account.

How do I disconnect my insurer?

Open the connection and choose Disconnect this insurer. rekupr forgets the saved sign-in and stops bringing in EOBs. EOBs already matched to your bills stay with those bills.
