What free letters can rekupr write?

Besides appeals, rekupr writes two letters for free: a request for an itemized bill, and a request for a payment plan. Both use the details from your review, and you can edit them before you send them.

How do I request an itemized bill?

Open your results, switch to the Detailed view, go to the Appeals tab, and choose Request an itemized bill. If your bill looks like a summary bill, your results also offer the letter directly. When the itemized bill arrives, upload it and we analyze the itemized version at no additional cost.

Why does an itemized bill matter?

An itemized bill lists every service, date, code, and charge. It is the easiest way to spot duplicate charges, wrong quantities, and services you did not receive.

How do I ask for a payment plan?

On the Appeals tab, choose Request a payment plan. The letter starts a conversation with the billing office about manageable payments. You can still dispute charges you think are wrong.

Who sends these letters?

You do. Download the letter and send it to your provider's billing office by mail, fax, or their online account. Keep a copy, and note the date you sent it.

Do these letters cost anything?

No. Itemized bill and payment plan requests are free. Only an appeal has a fee, once per bill.
