What should I do when my insurer replies?
Upload the insurer's reply to your appeal case. Open the case, choose Upload Reply, and add the letter as a PDF or an image (PNG, JPG, GIF, or TIFF). Upload replies that arrive by mail, email, or through your insurer's website the same way. If a reply comes by phone, add a note to your case with the date, the name of the person you spoke to, and any reference number.
What does rekupr find in the insurer's reply?
rekupr reads the reply and tells you what kind of answer it is: approved, denied, partly approved, a request for more information, or just a note saying they received your appeal. It also pulls out any deadlines and the key points, and adds them to your case timeline.
What if my insurer denies the appeal or asks for more?
You can draft a follow-up letter from your case. rekupr uses your whole case history, including the insurer's own words, so the follow-up answers what they said. Choose a professional, firm, or empathetic tone. Follow-ups for a bill are included in that bill's appeal fee.
What if the reply only says they received my appeal?
That is an acknowledgment, not a decision. Keep it with your case, set the case to Awaiting Response, and watch for the decision letter.
When should I close my appeal case?
When the insurer replies with a final decision you accept, close the case and record the outcome and any savings.
