How do I download my letter?
On your appeal page, choose Download PDF. While you are still editing a letter, you can choose Copy letter to paste it elsewhere, or Download letter for a plain text copy. For a summary bill, you can also download the itemized bill request letter straight from your results.
Can I edit a letter before I send it?
Yes. A draft is a starting point. Check the details, add your own context, and send it only when you are ready.
Does rekupr send my letters for me?
No. You send every letter yourself. Changing a status in rekupr keeps your record organized, but it does not send a letter or contact your provider or insurer.
How should I send my letter?
Send it the way your insurer or provider asks: by mail, fax, or their online account. Certified mail gives you a delivery receipt. Keep a copy of the letter and anything you get back.
How do I record that I sent it?
On your appeal page, press Mark as sent, so your timeline shows when the letter went out. Add a note with anything useful, such as a tracking number or the date you faxed it.
Where do I find my letters later?
Open the bill's results, switch to the Detailed view, and go to the Appeals tab to see all the letters for that bill. Appeals are also listed in the Appeal Center.
