Can I manage bills for my family members?
Yes, where family profiles are turned on for your account. Open the Family page to add the people whose medical bills you manage, such as a spouse, child, or parent. Adding family members is free, and checking their bills is free too. If you do not see a Family page, family profiles are not available on your account yet.
What do I need to add a family member?
Just a nickname. You can also add a relationship, their member ID, and the subscriber name on their plan. No date of birth or Social Security number is needed. You sign a short statement confirming you are authorized to manage this person's health information.
How do I choose who a bill is for?
When you upload, rekupr asks Who is this bill for? Choose the family member whose name appears on the bill. You can continue without choosing, and we will use the plans on your account.
How do I add insurance for family members?
Add the plan on your Insurance page first, then attach it to your family members from the Family page. Attaching a policy does not add someone to an insurance plan or confirm their coverage. It tells rekupr which plan to check their bills against.
